What is a standing seam roof panel machine?
A standing seam roof panel machine forms steel coil into roof panels with raised, interlocking seams. The panels are joined with concealed fasteners, so no screw penetrations appear on the roof surface — the key advantage of standing seam metal roofing over through-fastened panels.

What material does the standing seam machine process?
The machine processes PPGI steel coil from 0.4 to 0.8 mm thick with a high yield strength of 500–550 MPa, at a coil width of 600 mm or 610 mm, fed from a 5-ton decoiler with 508 mm coil inner diameter.

What components does the complete line include?
The complete line includes: a manual or electric 5-ton decoiler, roll forming system (about 17 stands, 5.5 kW), hydraulic stop-and-cut unit with Cr12MoV tool-steel blades, a 2.2 kW hydraulic power unit, a PLC control system (Delta from Taiwan or Mitsubishi from Japan), and two non-powered run-out tables totaling 3 meters.

How large and heavy is the machine?
The standing seam machine weighs about 6,000 kg and measures approximately 6.5 m long × 1.7 m wide × 1.8 m high (final design subject to the profile), so a full line typically fits in one shipping container for export delivery.
